Open Create → Quiz/Exam. On each question, set the correct answer and its points; the score is calculated on submission, on our servers, without the correct answers ever being sent to the participant's browser.
How each question is graded
- Single choice, drop-down list: one correct answer among the choices.
- Checkboxes: several correct answers, all-or-nothing or partial scoring.
- Short text: one or more accepted answers, ignoring capitals and accents if you wish.
- Number, scale: expected value, with a tolerance margin for a number.
- Matrix: one correct answer and points per row.
- Long text: graded by hand (see the FAQ).
Scoring and result
A wrong answer can deduct points. The pass mark is set as a percentage or in points. On submission, participants see their score and a message depending on whether they passed or not; you can also hide the score.
The answer key
Show the correct answers never, right after submission, or only when the quiz closes, so they do not circulate while the quiz is still open.
The score can be saved in the participant's contact record, with a “passed” or “failed” tag: result by email and in your contacts.
